The Windows 11 lock screen will time out and shut off your display in less than 30 seconds but if you want it to stay on longer then you will need to edit the registry to enable the timeout settings in Windows 11. Windows 11 does not display the option to change the lock screen timeout setting anywhere by default on any device. You can change the screen timeout on any device you want like an android iPhone and other devices.

Method 1. Use the Settings app

Step 1. Turn on your windows 11 computer and right click on the Start menu and then click on Setting.

Step 1. Open the start menu and then search the control panel and open it.

Method 3. Use a Windows PowerShell command

Step 1. Turn on your windows 11 computer and then open the start menu and search Windows PowerShell and click on Run as Administrator.

Step 2. Copy and paste the following command and press Enter.

powercfg -change -monitor-timeout-ac 60

Method 4.  Use Registry Editor

4.1 Modify the Registry

Step 1. Open your computer and then open the Start menu and search regedit and click on Run as Administrator.

Step 2. Click on Yes on the User Action Control prompt.

Step 3. Go to to the following location.

4.2 Change Advanced Power Settings

Step 1. Open the start menu and then search the control panel and open it.
